Barkalow was challenged by the Principal, faculty, and staff of the Laura Donovan School

to complete the Ice Bucket Challenge to raise awareness for ALS
 .
 Our a
dministration, faculty and staff accepted the
ir
challenge, and in turn challenged the Eisenhower Middle School.  Also, in recognition of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, we took on the Whip Cancer Challenge and our administrators took pies in the face from two of our current students.  A monetary contribution from faculty and staff was given to the Pediatric Cancer Awareness Fund.
